Virtual Drop-In Hours
OIS offers virtual drop-in advising hours to provide international students, scholars, and dependents an immediate response to brief questions they may have. Individuals can learn more about virtual drop-in advising procedures here. The office does not hold drop-in hours on Wednesdays.

Appointments
Need assistance with more in-depth or personal immigration advice? Appointments with advisors will remain virtual until further notice. You can find a list of advisors and the departments they advise below, as well as each advisor’s pronouns (for those that wish to include them), email address, and a link to make an appointment with that specific advisor. OIS does not accept same-day advising appointments, so we appreciate your understanding and care when choosing an appointment time.
Please remember that appointments should only be used for more complex inquiries that may take 15-20 minutes to discuss. If you have a quick 5-10 minute question, please utilize our virtual drop-in hours. If you receive the answer to your immigration question in drop-ins or via e-mail before you are able to meet with an OIS advisor in a meeting, please cancel your upcoming appointment so we can open the time up for another student. An OIS advisor will not automatically cancel a future appointment after we correspond with you.
