Panel: Professionalism in Negotiating and Maintaining a Good Reputation

On February 23, 2016 the Office of International Services (OIS) and the Career Development Center (CDC) at NC State University will be hosting a panel discussion on professionalism during job searches, negotiations and maintaining a good reputation. By attending this panel discussion participants will be able to engage in meaningful discussions with a human resources expert, current private sector employee and an international student who has participated in an internship and job search experience. These panel members will offer insight into the private industry expectations and day-to-day work environment. This panel discussion will also include a discussion surrounding maintaining professional contacts and a professional reputation. Participants will also be able to hear information from OIS and the CDC regarding the Curricular Practical Training (CPT) authorization process and tips on getting the most out of your job search experience. There will be some prizes given away to attendees and light refreshments will be served.
