We truly appreciate their help in welcoming the new international students to NC State. |Final OIS Check-in Reminder
If you have not attended an OIS Check-in Session, you must do so immediately. Check-in is required by law to maintain your immigration status. The last OIS Check-in sessions will be held tomorrow, Tuesday August 16th. Schedule your Check-in here.

|Cultural Crossroads Fall 2016 Kick-Off!
Join international and American students for the discussion “Communicating Between Cultures — Standard Language, ‘Talkin’– Southern’, Slang, and Unspoken Language” on Wednesday, August 24th from 4-5 p.m. in 104/106 University College Commons. |Social Security Administration Staff on Campus – August 24th in Hunt Library
On Wednesday, August 24th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., staff from the Social Security Administration Office will be in the Duke Energy Hall in Hunt Library to process Social Security number (SSN) applications. You MUST have a job offer in order to apply for an SSN. Registration is required! Sign up for an appointment here (Please note: Registration will be available by 5 P.M. on Tuesday, August 16th). Please carefully review the OIS webpage on Social Security for details about the SSN application process before your appointment.
|GoPass Pick-Up in Talley: Monday, August 22nd through Wednesday, August 24th
All students must pick up their GoPass at the Talley Student Union between the hours of 10 a.m – 2 p.m. Monday, August 22nd – Wednesday, August 24th. During this time, any GoPasses ordered online by 3:00 p.m. will be available for pickup the following day at Talley. At all other times, please allow two (2) business days for processing and pick up student GoPasses at the NC State Transportation Office, Admin. I, 2721 Sullivan Drive (Rt. 7 Wolfline has a stop directly in front of the building).
