NC State Day of Giving

Each year, NC State University hosts an annual Day of Giving aimed at supporting current students through programs such as college scholarship funds, the Student Emergency Fund, and University Priorities. This year we are asking our community to support the International Student Support Fund with only five minutes of their time. With a like, tweet, or share you can assist the Office of International Services in winning bonuses up to $15,000 to help grow the International Student Support Fund. With your support, we can work together to build a support system for our Global Pack.

Video Share Challenge (Facebook)

The Day of Giving video share challenge helps us spread the word about NC State Day of Giving. Help us by sharing the NC State Day of Giving video directly from our Facebook page. The college, program, or fund whose video post receives the most shares before midnight on March 23rd will win an additional $2,000! Spread the word and share our video today.

Show Us Your Wolfies (Instagram or Twitter)

All-day on Tuesday, March 23rd you can help the International Student Support Fund win $2,000 by showing us your wolfies. Take a photo of yourself or scroll through your camera roll to find a photo of yourself holding up the Wolfies/Wolf Ears. Submit the photo on Twitter and Instagram with #GivingPack and tagging @ncsu.ois on Instagram and @ncsu_ois on Twitter. Sign up here for an email reminder on the morning of Tuesday, March 23rd.

#GivingPack Hashtag Match Challenge (Twitter)

All-day on Wednesday, March 24th you can help the International Student Support Fund win up to $8,000 by participating in the #GivingPack Hashtag Match Challenge on Twitter. All you have to do is tell us something you love about NC State — why you chose it, a favorite memory, a shout-out to a friend, your favorite campus spot, etc. — and tweet using the hashtag #GivingPack. Mention @ncsu_ois in the text and $10 will be given to the International Student Support Fund in your honor. If 500 individuals participate that could mean $5,000 additional dollars to the fund. Remember to tweet early in the day as funds will only be given for the first 600 tweets. Follow us on Twitter and make sure to tag our office.

Financial Support and Donations

Monetary donations are always appreciated to support the International Student Support Fund. If you are planning on financially supporting please consider strategically donating between 3 AM – 4 AM EDT to help us win an additional bonus of $1,500 for the most gifts given during that hour.
