The process of settling into a new place doesn’t end with orientation. In the weeks following the start of the semester, there are many questions about life in the United States and the resources available at NC State. OIS connected with partners from across campus and the community to continue introducing new internationals to information they may need as they settle in Raleigh. Each session is 30 minutes in length and you must log in with your unity ID to register. Recordings will be posted as soon as they’re available.

Public Transportation in Raleigh

Public transportation is a key way that internationals move around the campus area and Raleigh. Join us for a session with University Transportation Planner, Gabrielle Bubin, to learn about the many methods of transportation available in Raleigh. If you’ve only used Wolfline so far, this session is definitely for you.

Healthy Eating in the United States

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle goes hand in hand with success at NC State. Learn from Soo Uhm, registered dietitian in Campus Health, about how to eat healthy in the United States, including how to understand U.S. nutrition labels and how to navigate US grocery stores to make healthy choices.
