Funding Calculator
This funding calculator is designed to provide an estimate of your expected expenses for your requested extension period.
Helpful tips for using the calculator:
- The calculator makes the calculations based on the current semester – for example, if you are requesting a program extension prior to the end of the Fall 2021 term, and you currently anticipate that you will graduate in Summer 2022, the calculator will add expenses for both the Spring 2021 and Summer 2022 terms.
- The “research phase” of a graduate program refers to the time period in a thesis/dissertation student’s degree program where they have accumulated sufficient hours to meet the degree requirements (a minimum of 30 credits for master’s degrees and a minimum of 72 credits for doctoral degrees). You should only select “Yes” to this question if you are a graduate student completing a thesis or dissertation, and you have accumulated the sufficient hours to meet degree requirements.
