Abhra Dass, Master of Science in Computer Engineering
Tell us about yourself.
An engineer, avid jogger, amateur pianist, moderate cook. In the habit of reading too much news, learning whatever is not on my syllabus.
So, it took me four semesters to complete my master’s, but I spend Fall 2019 in CU Boulder and then transferred to NC State.
As a result, got to experience two Graduate College experience in one brief time.
How was your experience at NC State University?
Moved to NC State in January 2020. Really loved the amount of co-operation and assistance provided by my Department, OIS and Graduate school. To hit the ground running as I transitioned from one master’s Program to another. Met people and gained valuable life experiences, here at NC State.
Also, I love Wolf Tracks!
What would you say is your biggest accomplishment during your time at NC State?
Take up running near the lakes in the evening and developing a healthy lifestyle in the process. Find out habits to maximize mental health.
What are your plans post graduation?
I would be joining Microsoft Silicon Division here in Raleigh, NC as Electrical Engineer.
Do you have any advice for current or incoming international students?
Meet more people and try gain more experiences. If you stuck or struggling in something, do not hesitate to ask for help.
