About English Conversation Club

If you’re looking for a relaxed place to practice your English or you are a native English speaker that enjoys interacting with international students and scholars, then English Conversation Club (ECC) is the place for you!  We ask that participants come ready to talk and have fun! ECC is a great place to learn commonly used idioms, practice your conversation skills, and learn American vocabulary.

Spring 2026 Update

ECC for Spring 2026 will start the first week of classes (January 12th-16th)! Meetings are held 3 times per week in person. Participants are welcome to attend any and all of the sessions listed below! We invite you to bring a friend and can’t wait to see you there, #GlobalWolfPack.

Spring 2026 Semester ECC Meetings

  • Centennial Campus ECC is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 5:30 PM.
  • Main Campus ECC is Fridays from 3:30 to 4:30 PM.
    • Friday meetings are held in the Multi-Purpose Room (Room 302) of Page Hall. They will start on Friday, January 16th.

Note: Non-native English speaking participants must be a current NC State student (including incoming students), scholar, spouse or family member in order to participate.
