Campus Logistics

For those students living on-campus, move-in will take place by appointment for Fall 2022.  OIS encourages you to request your appointment as early as possible to allow time for you to recover from any jet lag and get settled and prepared for the Fall semester.  Appointment sign ups and move-in dates will be posted on the University Housing website. If you will be arriving in Raleigh before your move-in appointment, or if you will be living off-campus, please arrange for temporary housing in advance.

The Raleigh-Durham (RDU) International Airport is located about 15 miles away from NC State University. Please review OIS’ website for information about transportation from RDU to campus.  Once on campus, the Wolfline buses will be operating on an abbreviated schedule through Summer 2022 until the Fall semester begins on August 22. Anyone can ride the Wolfline for free, no ID is needed to get on the bus. You may find your bus and the most up to date route information at ncsu.transloc.com.

All new international students are charged a one-time International Orientation Fee, which will be automatically added to your Student Account.  This mandatory fee covers the costs of developing and facilitating International Orientation, as well as programs and events for international students throughout the year.
